Irish Recipes and Cuisine
Ireland is renowned for its green land, which are of course well known for excellent growing crops and grazing animals. Traditional Irish cuisine is strong, healthy cuisine from local produce - recipes can be simple, but they are also delicious and satisfying!
Potatoes are also a prominent feature of Irish cuisine. They were in the late 17th Century, and have introduced the staple food of Ireland. Oats and barley are also grown, and for many centuries.Popular meats are lamb and pork.

There are many recipes out fish from the oven, and why not? Consumption of fish and seafood are important for a healthy diet. Fish contains omega fatty acids, is low in saturated fats and low in a wide variety of vitamins and minerals.

Fried Bass
1-pound bass fillets
1 / 2 pound bacon
1 / 2 onion
1 / 2 tsp. Pepper
1 / 2 tsp. Garlic salt
1 / 4 tsp. Paprika
1 / 2 c. Water
2 tbsp. Butter
In a glass baking dish, place 5Bacon slices lengthwise. Add 1 tbsp. Butter in the pan and place fillets down. The whole thing with garlic, salt, paprika and pepper over the entire court. Fifth piece of bacon on the fish and pour in ½ cup of water. Bake at 375 degrees 40 minutes and serve.
Flounder with BAKED CHEESE
2 lbs. Flounder Fillets
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
1 / 4 cup light mayonnaise
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 / 4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 / 4 cup butter
1 / 2 tsp.Season salt
Place flounder fillets on greased foil on a large baking sheet. Make a small bag, by the end of the foil so juices do not expire. Pour lemon juice over the fish. Combine mayonnaise, onion, cheese, butter and salt and set aside. Bake fish for 6 to 8 minutes in a 450-degree oven until fish flakes with a fork. Remove from the oven. Spread cheese mixture over the top and is again melted in the over to broil until the cheese.
Roasted salmon with herbs
11 / 2 lbs. fresh salmon fillets
1 / 2 cup milk
1 / 2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. Dried basil
1 / 4 tsp. Salt
1 egg, beaten
1 / 2 c. finely ground bread crumbs
1 tbsp. melted butter
Dip fish fillets in milk, then in a mixture of flour, salt and basil. Add egg to remaining milk and beat lightly to. Add to add the remaining bread crumbs flour mixture. Dip fish into egg-milk mixture, then into flour-bread crumb mixture. Place in greased baking pan. Drizzle with melted butter. Baking450 degrees 10 minutes, fish flakes when you're done.
BAKED roughy
2 lbs. Orange roughy
4-5 carrots
1 stalk celery
2 large tomatoes
1 bunch green onions
4-5 small potatoes
1 tbsp. Butter
Seasonings of choice
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put put foil in the bottom of a casserole dish and fish. The whole thing with ingredients of your choice. Peeled carrots, sliced fish or sliced. Slice celery, green onions and tomatoes (small pieces) andpeeled potatoes and display fish. Add butter, cover stamped on the top with foil with a few holes in it. Cook for 1 ½ hours.

Chicken Curry Recipes - Chicken Madras
Chicken Madras is a dish that is found in Indian restaurants all over the world and for many people it is in their choice of top chicken curry recipes. Chicken Madras comes from southern India and the curry is quite hot by a relatively large amount of chilli in the recipe but it can also reduce, if necessary, if it is too hot for your taste are.
Below is a version of Chicken Curry Madras I prepare for a few years, based on what appears inPat Chapman's book Indian Restaurant Cookbook. The main difference lies in the spice mix that takes a larger number of spices in the first spice mixture and eliminate the addition of garam masala towards the end. Another difference is that this recipe does not call for tomato paste are added, which in my opinion, makes the sauce taste too much of tomato and lemon is added much earlier, are absorbed by the chicken.
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts cut into bite-sizedEach
Vegetable
1 onion cut into thin strips
1 can of tomatoes
Juice of 1 / 2 lemon
Spices:
4 dry red chilli
1 / 2 teaspoon black peppercorns
1 / 2 teaspoon chili powder
1 / 2 teaspoon paprika
Tsp cumin
Tsp fenugreek
Tsp turmeric
2 cardomoms
Pinch of cinnamon
4 cloves
Pinch coriander power
Pinch of ginger powder
Pinch of mustardSeeds
Method:
1. Fry the chicken for about 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil to remove color and from the pan.
2. Add the onions golden brown then add the spices. Mix the spices and blitz before you into the pan and fry for about 5 minutes, a little water if necessary.
3. Add the chicken and pour over the lemon juice. Stir well.
4. Chop the tomatoes and stir into the mix. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
5. Cook in aamedium heat for 45 minutes and serve with basmati rice.
